The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a placenta extract of an ungulate mammal including horses and pigs, which effectively separates and treats residues, hydrophilic substances and hydrophobic substances, has a short extraction time, and uses a small amount of an organic solvent. In the method, mixed placenta is put into a press and squeezed to form a compressed residue which is a remainder of the separation of the hydrophilic active ingredients and the placenta oil. The compressed residue is put into a centrifuge and centrifuged at a temperature of 40-60°C to form a centrifuged residue which is the remainder of the separation of the hydrophilic active ingredients and the placenta oil. The placenta oil component in the centrifuged residue is removed with 100-150 parts by weight of the organic solvent with respect to the residue. The organic solvent is removed by vacuum-drying to obtain a dried product, and the dried product is decomposed and extracted with a protease to obtain an extract, which is then purified.
