Disclosed are a waste treatment apparatus and a treatment system. The waste treatment apparatus comprises: a vertical transfer pipe which penetrates each layer of a building structure, is extended in a vertical direction, and includes a plurality of inlets into which waste is inserted in a region corresponding to each layer of the building structure; a transfer basket which has a seating space for seating the waste therein to prevent damage to and dispersion of the waste, and is inserted into the vertical transfer pipe to be transferred along the vertical transfer pipe along with the waste; a discharge unit which is formed at a lower end of the vertical transfer pipe and discharges the transfer basket, on which the waste is seated, to the outside of the vertical transfer pipe; and a basket adjusting means which interferes with the transfer basket moving inside the vertical transfer pipe to reduce a speed of the transfer basket when the transfer basket is adjacent to the discharge unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, damage to and dispersion of waste are prevented since the waste is seated on the transfer basket to adjust a descending speed of the transfer basket inside the vertical transfer pipe. A device for adjusting a descending speed of waste in a vertical transfer pipe can be provided in a simple structure. Since a descending speed of waste can be adjusted according to the height of each layer, the height and the number of stories of the building are not be limited.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
