The present invention relates to a method for configuring and controlling carrier aggregation in a terminal in a next generation wireless access network consisting of upper layer functional separation structures (separated by CU and DU) or an LTE system and an apparatus thereof. For example, a method for transmitting and receiving data through carrier aggregation comprises: a step of configuring wireless resources provided by a terminal through different DUs; and a step of transmitting and receiving data by performing carrier aggregation using radio resources provided through the different DUs.
