An objective of the present invention is to provide a physical copying prevention device capable of being mass produced at low costs and having randomness and reliability, and a manufacturing method of the same. The physical copying prevention device includes a plurality of nanoparticles randomly dispersed on a substrate, and an identification key is generated by measuring a difference in light absorption characteristics due to local surface plasma resonance of the nanoparticles. In addition, microstructures can be formed on the substrate, so as to provide effects of enhancing light absorbing characteristics, increasing randomness, or increasing a performance of an application device.
