The present invention relates to a dry screw vacuum pump including a drain chamber, grooves, and a mechanical seal. The present invention provides a dry screw vacuum pump including a drain chamber including a driving screw which rotates about a driving shaft, a driven screw which rotates about a driven shaft while engaging with the driving screw, and a casing in which the driving and driven screws are embedded, grooves, and a mechanical seal, the dry screw vacuum pump including: a gas purge seal provided on an inner peripheral surface of the casing at a fluid exhaust side distal end of driving and driven screw rotors provided in the driving and driven shafts; a double lip seal provided on the outside of the gas purge seal; a drain chamber provided on one side of the gas purge seal; grooves provided on an outer peripheral surface of the casing, on the fluid exhaust side with respect to the drain chamber; a mechanical seal provided on the fluid exhaust side with respect to the grooves; and an oil seal provided on an inner peripheral surface of the distal casing on the fluid exhaust side. The present invention can minimize condensation in the casing of the vacuum pump, can prevent damage to the casing and the screws due to oil and impurities introduced into the casing, and remarkably improves the life span of the pump by protecting the mechanical seal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
