The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving reference signals for a new radio (NR) system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for transmitting a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) comprises the steps of: receiving information on a DMRS setting type from a base station; receiving information on number of DMRS symbols, number of layers, and antenna port number from the base station; receiving a DMRS from the base station; and estimating a downlink channel using the received DMRS based on the information on the DMRS setting type, the number of DMRS symbols, the number of layers, and the antenna port number.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
