Disclosed are a casting ladle for preventing nitrogen absorption in molten steel to prevent contact between outdoor air and molten steel during molten steel processing work in the casting ladle and a method for preventing nitrogen absorption in molten steel using the same. According to the present invention, the casting ladle for preventing nitrogen absorption in molten steel comprises: a casting ladle body for containing molten steel; at least one trunnion ring mounted to the casting ladle body; a gas supply pump mounted on a lower side of the casting ladle body; and a gas pipe extending from the gas supply pump to communicate with the trunnion ring and supply an inert gas supplied from the gas supply pump to the inside of the trunnion ring. The trunnion ring has a gas outlet to inject the inert gas to the outside.
