The present invention provides a system for automatic positioning to print an electrode of a solar cell and a method thereof. The system comprises: a transparent glass plate installed to load a solar cell; an electrode printing device located above the transparent glass plate and installed to print an electrode on the solar cell; a visual positioning module positioned right below the transparent glass plate and installed to collect position information of the solar cell; and a main control module searched to adjust a printing position of the electrode printing device according to position information transmitted from the visual positioning module.
