The present invention relates to liquid crystal microcapsules coated with PAA-APBA, a manufacturing method thereof, and a non-enzyme-based glucose biosensor using the same. The biosensor for measuring the non-enzyme glucose using the liquid crystal microcapsules according to the present invention is based on liquid crystals, and thus a manufacturing process is simple and time required for the manufacture thereof is relatively small.
