Provided is a method for forecasting a machine industry trend performed in a server receiving a search word for machine equipment from a client connected through a network. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method may comprise the steps of: receiving a search word from a client terminal to collect a search result for corresponding machine equipment in a machine equipment database; generating logs based on the collected search resu filtering the generated logs; deriving a result value for machine industry by the filtering; and forecasting a trend for the machine industry based on the result value.
