The present invention relates to a random number generation technique based on a block cipher. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a block cipher-based random number generation method applied with white-box cryptography comprises the steps of: encoding a variable used as a plain text to generate a partially encoded operating state (internal state); updating an operating state through a first process of an internal update function that applies a lookup table generated based on a key included in an operating state to an externally encoded variable; and outputting a next operating state as a result calculated through a second process of an internal updating function that XORs the updated operating state and input data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
