The present invention provides a composition for diagnosing asthma or pulmonary fibrosis, comprising an agent measuring the level of a protein of Annexin-A5 or mRNA of a gene thereof; a kit for diagnosing asthma or pulmonary fibrosis, comprising the composition; a method of providing information for the diagnosis of asthma or pulmonary fibrosis; and a screening method for a therapeutic agent for asthma or pulmonary fibrosis. The present invention provides the composition for diagnosing asthma or pulmonary fibrosis to measure and compare the expression levels of proteins or genes of the proteins whose expression levels vary in a patient with asthma or pulmonary fibrosis, thereby enabling an early diagnosis of asthma or pulmonary fibrosis or significantly prognosticating a disease progression thereof.
