The present invention relates to a thermosetting electrolyte composition for a lithium-sulfur battery, a gel polymer electrolyte manufactured thereby, and a lithium-sulfur battery comprising the electrolyte. More specifically, the present invention relates to a thermosetting electrolyte composition for a lithium-sulfur battery comprising: a lithium sa an organic solvent; and a polymer or oligomer having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 130,000 to 380,000 g/mol and having a thermosetting functional group. According to the present invention, a gel polymer electrolyte for a lithium-sulfur battery can be manufactured by only thermal polymerization without a polymerization initiator.
