Biomarkers for diagnosing malignant mesothelioma and their uses

The present invention relates to a biomarker for diagnosing malignant mesothelioma and uses thereof. Specifically, seven types of malignant mesothelioma diagnostic genes LOX, LOXL1, LOXL2, ZFPM2, THBS2, SULF1 and CDH11 are selected by bioinformatics analysis, and it is confirmed that the genes have high expression levels in tissue samples from patients with mesothelioma. Therefore, the genes can be used as a biomarker for the diagnosis of malignant mesothelioma.
