The present invention relates to a CFRP propeller shaft for a vehicle, which can reduce the weight of an entire propeller shaft without degrading the transmission of rotational force so that the fuel efficiency can be improved due to the reduction of the weight of the vehicle, which can maintain excellent durability due to high specific strength, non-elasticity, excellent static strength and fatigue characteristics, and excellent friction and wear resistance of a CFRP material, and which can provide comfortable ride by absorbing vibration and shock. The propeller shaft for a vehicle includes a tube-shaped shaft having a predetermined length, and a tube yoke connected to both sides of the shaft. The shaft is formed of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP). A polygonal shaft joint pipe is integrally formed on both sides of the shaft so that an outer portion of the shaft joint pipe is inserted into an inner portion of a yoke joint pipe formed in a polygonal shape on the tube yoke formed of metal and bonded thereto by an adhesive.
