Impact Reducing Apparatus For Vehicle Doors

The present invention relates to an impact reducing apparatus for a door, which is mounted between inner and outer panels of the door to absorb impact applied from the outside. According to the present invention, the impact reducing apparatus comprises: a first impact reducing member formed by coupling a plurality of planar elastic members, and including a middle part bent into a shape of receiving the central area of the planar elastic member therein to form a central reception space and a pair of side parts forming a reception space on both sides of the middle part; a plurality of second impact reducing members received in the reception spaces of the middle and side parts to subsequently reduce impact transferred to the first impact reducing member; a connection member supporting the second impact reducing member mounted in the reception space of the middle part and connecting the pair of side parts; and a support member coupled to the middle part of the first impact reducing member to support the second impact reducing member mounted in the reception space of the side part. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the impact reducing apparatus is disposed between the inner and outer panels of a door for impact energy to be minimized through gradual impact absorption of the first and second impact reducing members and the connection member to minimize indoor intrusion in accordance with deformation of a door panel, thereby providing effects of minimizing damage to the door and maximally securing user safety.
