The present invention relates to a method of producing a polyclonal antibody against GIGANTEA (GI) protein, which comprises a step of producing a cleaved peptide having a carboxyl terminal and an amino terminal of the GI protein in E. coli, and then mixing and injecting the produced recombinant cleaved peptides of GI into a rabbit to produce a polyclonal antibody against the GI protein; and a composition and a kit for detecting GI protein comprising, as an active ingredient, a polyclonal antibody produced by the method.
