PEEK FABRICATION OF MICRO-POROUS TITANIUM COATING ON MEDICAL PEEK SURFACE

In a method for coating, on a surface of a medical polyether ether ketone (PEEK) material, titanium having a microporous structure, titanium is deposited on the surface of PEEK by magnetron sputtering. The surface of titanium deposited on the surface of PEEK is polished by an electromagnetic polishing machine. A titanium dioxide (TiO_2) thin film having micropores formed thereon is formed on the polished surface of titanium by anodizing.
