The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating neuropathic pain containing a Doellingeria scabra extract as an active component. It is confirmed that a Doellingeria scabra ethanol extract of the present invention has an excellent improvement effect of mechanical allodynia in a neuropathic pain mouse model. Therefore, it is expected that medicine or health functional food having an excellent neuropathic pain relieving effect can be developed by using the Doellingeria scabra ethanol extract of the present invention.
