The present invention relates to a medical image reading device and a method for providing information on a disease using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the medical image reading device comprises: a photographing unit photographing a nail-wrinkled capillary blood vessel to obtain an image; a resolution adjusting unit adjusting a first resolution of the obtained image to a second resolution higher than the first resolution; and a reading unit previously learned to output a read result related to a predetermined disease when the image adjusted to the second resolution is inputted.
