P2P END USERS AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR P2P COMMUNICATION AND USERS AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR MULTICAST

A terminal authentication method for P2P communication includes: a step in which an authentication server generates a second image visually indicating the same content as the authentication code when a first modification image, made by inserting an authentication code into a first image based on first user information, overlaps the first image; a step in which the authentication server generates a fourth image visually indicating the same content as the authentication code when a third modification image, made by inserting an authentication code into a third image based on second user information, overlaps the third image; a step in which a first terminal receives the first modification image and the fourth image; a step in which a second terminal receives the third modification image and the second image; a step in which the first and second terminals exchange the fourth image and the second image; and a step in which the first terminal executes authentication by comparing the authentication code extracted from the first modification image to an authentication code shown on an image made by combining the second image with the first image made by deleting the authentication code from the first modification image based on the first user information. According to the present invention, the terminal authentication method is capable of simply executing user authentication by using images based on visual cryptography and steganography.
