Disclosed are a method for providing a Chinese dictionary based on plane deployment and an apparatus thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises: an input step of receiving input information for pronunciation of Chinese characters; a search step of searching for the input information from a database in which information for syllables of Chinese is stored in a plane deployment structure of vowels and consonants; and an output step of outputting a Chinese syllable table based on information recorded in the database.
