According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a household food waste processing apparatus for actively controlling the growth environment of microorganisms, comprising: a crushing tank for crushing the food waste, having a first inlet connected to a discharge port of a sink at an upper end, a first outlet for discharging the crushed food waste at a lower end, and a second outlet disposed between the first inlet and a first outlet for discharging wastewater; and a fermentation tank for fermenting the crushed food discharged from the crushing tank by microorganisms.
