The present invention relates to an area marker for a rooftop of a tollgate and, more specifically, to an area marker for a rooftop of a tollgate, which is capable of allowing a worker to enter the inner space of a base body to install or replace an LED module. According to the present invention, the area marker for a rooftop of a tollgate comprises: the base body having an internal space allowing a worker to enter the internal space and perform work therein, and installed on the rooftop of the tollgate; a display panel installed on at least one surface of the base body having a plurality of through-holes corresponding to a character or a symbol, to display the character or the symbol; a plurality of LED modules including a cap part mounted on the display panel to be inserted into the through-hole of the display panel so as to extrude to the outside in order to be lighted along the character or the symbol and a body coupled to the cap part and having an LED mounted in an internal space; and a fixing means coupled to or separated from the through-hole of the display panel on the outer circumferential surface of the cap part to allow the worker to install and replace the LED module in the internal space of the base body.
