The present invention relates to a method for executing a timer included in an application previously installed in a user terminal to share a dangerous status of a user and a device thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for allowing a server to execute a timer included in an application previously installed in a user terminal to share a dangerous status of a user comprises the steps of: executing the timer to operate the timer for a time of a predetermined range; and transmitting a dangerous status sharing message informing the user of dangerous status information to a preset protector terminal when the timer is continuously operated since a safety status information is not received from the user until the time of the preset range has elapsed.
