The present invention relates to a method for detecting unevenness and breakage of a road surface. More specifically, provided are a system for detecting and displaying a road surface condition of a road by attaching a terminal for detecting a road surface flatness vibration to measure a vibration and a noise generated during operation in accordance with the road surface condition, and a method thereof. A system for detecting unevenness and breakage of a road using the terminal for detecting a road surface flatness vibration comprises: a detection unit measuring a condition of unevenness and breakage of a road surface while driving a vehicle; a control unit comparing the detected measurement value of a road bending condition with a predetermined threshold value, if the measurement value is greater than the threshold value, to generate a message including GPS position information on a detected area where the abnormality is detected; and a transmission unit delivering the message to a management center.
