The present invention relates to a patient-customized leg rehabilitation training device and a method thereof, which are implemented to help the leg rehabilitation training of patients who need the rehabilitation of legs. The present invention includes: a driving unit which drives according to driving control signals; a detection unit which is mounted and installed in the driving unit, detects the position of an obstacle or a patient, and generates a detection signal corresponding to the detected position; an alarm unit which is mounted and installed in the driving unit and notifies the position or state of the driving unit to the patient; and a control unit which is mounted and installed in the driving unit, generates a driving control signal to avoid an obstacle or be far away from a patient by allocating a weight value depending on the detection signal transmitted from the detection unit, and transmits the generated driving control signal to the driving unit.
