According to a proposed technology, the present invention relates to a gas detection method using an SVM classifier in an FT-IR-based spectral spectrum. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for detecting a remote chemical gas using a support vector machine (SVM) classifier, which is a method of training a hyperplane, using a target gas spectrum and a non-target gas spectrum.
