COMPOSITION COMPRISING GREEN TEA EXTRACTS WITH ENHANCED POLYSACCHARIDE CONTENT

Disclosed in the present application are: a composition having a use for blood glucose control which contains a green tea extract comprising at least one selected from a group consisting of 7 wt% or more of polysaccharides, less than 20 wt% of catechins, and 10 wt% or more of dietary fibers, relative to a total weight of the green tea extract; and a method for manufacturing the composition. The composition has an effect of inhibiting activity of glucosidase and amylase, and also has an effect of lowering blood glucose by inhibiting glucose uptake in small intestinal cells.
