MJ4 A Novel Tetragenococcus sp. MJ4 and the Use Thereof

The present invention relates to a novel Tetragenococcus sp. MJ4 strain and uses thereof. The strain is a halophilic lactic acid bacterium lacking a gene that produces biogenic amines, and thus may be useful for the production of fermented foods in order to reduce the biogenic amines produced during a fermentation process of salted seafood.
