A pre-aging system and method of metal strips during metal working involves passing metal strips adjacent to a reheating magnetic rotor. The system and method also include heating the metal strip through the magnetic rotor by rotating the magnetic rotor. When the magnetic rotor is rotated, the magnetic field is guided to the metal strip and the metal strip is heated.
