The present invention relates to a functional feed additive for pigs, more specifically for a porker, to produce pork having high DHA content, and a manufacturing method thereof. The feed additive of the present invention comprises DHA oil, DHA powder, a mixture of stevia extracts used as sweeteners and licorice extracts, and other excipients. Furthermore, the functional feed additive of the present invention comprises DHA oil, DHA powder, a mixture of stevia extracts used as sweeteners and licorice extracts, inert yeast and other excipients. The functional feed additive increases transfer and an accumulation amount of DHA in the pork (pork belly) fat of a porker to increase efficiency in using DHA fed by the feed additive. Accordingly, the present invention enables production of pork having relatively high DHA content, which is well-known for functionality for humans at small costs.
