Disclosed are an analog optical signal transmission system reducing clipping distortion of an analog optical link by suppressing a peak to average power ratio, and a method thereof. The analog optical signal transmission method comprises the steps of: correcting a voltage of an input wireless signal using a first RF element; converting a voltage-corrected wireless signal into an analog optical signal; and transmitting the converted analog optical signal to an analog optical signal reception device through the analog optical link. The first RF element may correct and output a voltage of the input wireless signal in accordance with an input/output characteristic having a shape such as a sigmoid function.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
