The present invention relates to a downward shortwave radiation calculation method on a ground surface which converts the radiation brightness of a plurality of shortwave channels into a narrow band reflectance and calculates the downward shortwave radiation of the ground surface through auxiliary data and a regression coefficient table in accordance with atmospheric conditions.
