The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage ECOH7 specific to Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli and, more specifically, to an antibacterial composition comprising the bacteriophage ECOH7 specific to Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli. According to the present invention, the bacteriophage ECOH7 shows extremely high specificity to Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli; may be transfected into Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli to propagate inside the Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli, thereby showing excellent bacteriolytic activities; and is highly resistant to physicochemical stimuli. In addition, the bacteriophage ECOH7 of the present invention does not transfect hosts other than bacteria, such as humans, animals, and plants, and thus serves to address the problems associated with antibiotic-resistant bacteria due to overuse and misuse of antibiotics, the problems associated with antibiotics remaining in food, and the problems associated with a broad range of hosts. Thus, the bacteriophage ECOH7 may be widely used in the fields relating to antibiotic compositions, feed additive compositions, feed, disinfectants, or detergents.
