The present invention relates to a visitor distribution and traffic management system for a large exhibition space. More specifically, a system comprises: at least one visitor terminal assigned with unique identification information, including a beacon-based communication module and a display unit to transmit a radio signal including the identification information, and receiving and displaying service information transmitted from the outside; a plurality of sub beacons provided in each predetermined zone to build a network area in an exhibition hall and for detecting and transmitting a location signal of the visitor terminal in the network area by scanning the radio signals transmitted from the visitor terminal; a content providing server registering and storing the identification information assigned to the visitor terminal, analyzing and monitoring the location of a visitor and congestion by zone using the location signal transmitted from the sub beacon, and providing service information for inducing the distribution of the visitor in the exhibition hall to at least one selected visitor terminal; and a main beacon connected to the content providing server through a communication network, collecting data transmitted from the plurality of sub beacons to deliver the data to the content providing server, and transmitting the service information provided from the content providing server to the visitor terminal.
