An augmented reality system, to which an image camera obtaining real image information by recording images around a user, capable of controlling an augmented reality object using three-dimensional posture information, in displaying a three-dimensional virtual image on a display, comprises a mobile terminal displaying, on the display, the three-dimensional virtual image corresponding to current location information and the real image information. The mobile terminal is provided with a 9-axis sensor to obtain its own three-dimensional posture information. Posture of at least one virtual object selected by the mobile terminal is changed in synchronization with the three-dimensional posture information.
