The present invention relates to an edge-type flat panel illumination with an anti-warp side cover and an anti-warp side cover for the same. According to the present invention, the edge-type flat panel illumination with the anti-warp side cover comprises: four anti-warp side cover structures (100) which connect corner structures (200) formed on four corners of the flat panel illumination to two corner covers (210) for each of the corner structures; an LED module (300); and a diffused illumination cover (400). The corner covers (210) of the corner structures (200) and the side cover (110) of the anti-warp side cover structures (100) accommodate each other in an external side of the corner covers (210) and in an internal side of the side covers (110) at the position where they come in contact. Accordingly, the present invention is able to change an extrusion guide member (frame), and finish an edge of the edge-type flat panel illumination beautifully by the side cover and corner covers. In addition, the present invention is able to take a pressing/contact structure by the side cover and prevent the corner covers from warping not only when installing and maintaining the edge-type flat panel illumination but also disassembling the same. In addition, the present invention is able to focus light sources on the light guide panel to compensate for the loss of light sources irradiated on an edge type, and allow the light guide panel structure to be slim.
