The present invention relates to: a silicon-containing structure comprising a silicon-containing composite comprising porous silicon secondary particles and a carbon-based coating film comprising a first amorphous carbon disposed on upper part of the silicon-containing composite. The silicon-containing composite contains a second amorphous carbon so that a density of the silicon-containing composite is greater than that of the carbon-based coating film. The secondary particle of silicon composite comprises an aggregate of two or more silicon composite primary particles, wherein the silicon composite primary particles comprise silicon, silicon suboxide (SiOx) (0x2) on at least one side of the silicon, and a first carbon flake on at least one side of the silicon suboxide, and a second carbon flake is contained on at least one side of the porous silicon secondary particles; a manufacturing method thereof; a carbon composite using the same; and an electrode, a lithium battery, and an element comprising the same. According to the present invention, initial efficiency and a volume energy density are improved.
