A locking nut comprises an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring comprises a locking hole for locking an object to be fixed, an inner taper portion formed on an outer circumferential surface, and an inner thread portion formed on an outer circumferential surface. The outer ring comprises an accommodating hole accommodating the inner ring, an outer taper portion formed on an inner circumferential surface of the accommodating hole and slidingly coming in contact with the inner taper portion, and an outer thread portion formed on an inner circumferential surface of the accommodating hole and coupled to the inner thread portion. Therefore, as the outer ring is rotationally coupled to the inner ring, the locking nut can be autonomously balanced. As a result, a uniform locking force acts on a spindle, thereby preventing deformation of the spindle.
