A bearing releasing apparatus of a spindle unit may comprise a housing and at least one elastic plate. The housing can movably accommodate a rod of a cylinder to move a lever which is provided to move a shifter supported by a bearing on the outer circumferential surface of a spindle. The housing is formed in a moving direction of the rod, and can have a guiding groove with a shorter length than a maximum stroke of the rod. The elastic plate is connected to the rod, and can be movably inserted into the guiding groove. The elastic plate can elastically push the rod in a direction opposite from the moving direction of the rod, thereby releasing the bearing from a bearing housing. Furthermore, because the guiding groove is provided with a shorter length than the maximum stroke of the rod, the elastic plate can be bent by the rod before the rod reaches the maximum stroke. Therefore, the rod is moved towards the opposite direction from the moving direction by a restoring force of the bent elastic plate, thereby applying an impact on the bearing. Resultantly, an outer-race of the bearing inserted into a groove of the bearing housing can be released from the groove of the bearing housing by the impact.
