An embodiment of the present invention provides an artificial intelligence device. The artificial intelligence device comprises: a communication unit communicating with a plurality of external artificial intelligence devices; and a processor receiving sound signals for a user from the plurality of external artificial intelligence devices, determining a current path and a future path of the user based on the obtained sound signals, determining a target apparatus and operation of the target apparatus in consideration of the current path and the future path, and transmitting a control signal performing the determined operation to the determined target apparatus.
