Use of anti-sclerostine antibodies in the treatment of incomplete osteoplasia

A method of treating a patient suffering from incomplete osteoblastosis, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-sclerostine antibody to a patient suffering from incomplete osteoblastosis. Also disclosed is a method of increasing bone formation and reducing bone resorption in incomplete osteoblastic patients by administering a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-sclerostine antibody to an incomplete osteoblastic patient. Further disclosed are compositions for increasing bone formation and reducing bone resorption in incomplete osteoblastic patients. The composition comprises a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-sclerostine antibody. The present invention also provides anti-sclerostine antibodies for use in treating incomplete osteoblastosis.
