The present invention relates to a motor protection relay and a motor protection system including the same. In a motor protection relay which is arranged between a motor and a power supply unit, the motor protection relay comprises: a control unit measuring current or voltage flowing into a circuit connected with a motor and deducting a first determination result with regard to an abnormal state of the motor based on a measurement value; and a communication unit receiving second and third determination results with regard to the abnormal state of the motor determined based on the current or the voltage flowing into the circuit connected with the motor. The control unit operates an electromagnetic contactor which blocks power supplied to the motor when the motor is determined to be in the abnormal state in more than half of the first to third determination results.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
