The present invention relates to a nuclear fuel block which comprises: a graphite block of a hexagon pillar shape; a plurality of nuclear fuel compacts extended along a height direction of the graphite block and arranged to be equally spaced from each other in the graphite block; and a plurality of coolant channels formed around each of the nuclear fuel compacts. At least a part of the plurality of coolant channels is individually arranged in six directions around each nuclear fuel compact.
