According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a frequent pattern mining method of a distributed system, comprising the steps of: determining a candidate (k + 1) -item set using a frequent k-item set; calculating partial supports of the candidate (k + 1) -item set using bitmap chunks distributed in the distributed system; summing the partial supports of the candidate (k + 1) -item set; and determining a frequent (k + 1) -item set based on the summation of the partial supports.
