Disclosed is a method for controlling indoor air quality by using an intelligent air purifier. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling indoor air quality by using an intelligent air purifier performs a step of classifying dust concentration data received from the air purifier based on a preset standard to analyze a dust concentration pattern. Moreover, the dust concentration pattern is analyzed for every time zone to control an operation level of the air purifier before predicted time, and thus the indoor air quality can be efficiently managed. According to the present invention, the intelligent air purifier and the method for controlling indoor air quality by using an intelligent air purifier can be connected to an artificial intelligence module and a device related to 5G services.
