PFM PFM BUCK CONVERTER USING LEVEL SHIFTING

Disclosed is a pulse frequency modulation (PFM) buck converter using level shifting. According to a detailed embodiment of the present invention, a peak reference voltage (V-t, amp-) is determined as at least one of threshold voltages of four bits as a resistance value of at least one of resistors (R, 2R, 3R, 4R) to adjust an inductor voltage below the peak reference voltage so as to control current flowing into an inductor, thereby reducing a ripple of an output voltage of a load side. Moreover, a circuit configuration of a level shift circuit setting the peak reference voltage is simple so as to minimize power consumption of the PFM buck converter.
