Disclosed is a method for determining emotion in a video. The method comprises the steps of: separating an inputted video into a video stream and an audio stream; detecting a music section by analyzing the audio stream; extracting at least one video clip matching the music section; extracting emotion information in the music section; tagging and outputting the extracted emotion information to the video clip; learning a video emotion using the video clip tagged with the emotion information to generate a video emotion classification model; and determining and providing an emotion with respect to an inputted query video using the video emotion classification model.
