PH SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING A PH OF LITMUS PAPER USING A MOBILE TERMINAL

The present invention relates to a pH recognition system using a mobile terminal and a method thereof. The pH recognition system using a mobile terminal comprises: a cylindrical litmus container including pH color blocks arranged on one end surface thereof and provided with color blocks representing pH values and being arranged at regular intervals, and an insertion unit into which analysis target litmus paper is inserted to be fixed to be adjacent to the pH color blocks; a mobile terminal having a camera to simultaneously photograph the pH color blocks of the litmus container and the analysis target litmus paper; and a pH recognition application installed in the mobile terminal to compare RGB values of the pH color blocks and the analysis target litmus paper photographed by the camera to extract a pH value. Accordingly, pH values can be simply and accurately recognized by photographing litmus paper by using the camera of the mobile terminal.
